Interview with Leo Rutherford, Shaman. Leo worked in industry for twenty years, and for the last twelve years of that was a Managing Director of a manufacturing company which made tin cans and drums. By the age of forty he was suffering from acute stress and depression and 'normal' life did not make sense to me any more. He took his life apart and set out to find an alternative path, a path with more heart. Leo has a great sense of humor as well as a huge amount of wisdom.

Interview with a survivor of sexual abuse. 'A' shares her story and how she is still managing to overcome something which happened to her in her childhood. This is a candid, honest and open account of how one young lady has coped and is still trying to work through how these incidents affected her life.
'If you don't deal with the abuse or what has happened to you, it comes back to haunt you and you can't move forward with you life.'

Treatment for survivors of trauma and childhood physical and sexual abuse is a highly specialized field, in part because of the complexity of issues involved in both the original trauma and in the psychological and physical symptoms that can emerge in the aftermath. Resolution of the trauma is never final; recovery is never complete. The impact of a traumatic event continues to reverberate throughout the survivor’s life cycle. With each new life event comes the potential of a stress-induced return of traumatic memories.
